Sarcophagus/ Judgement- Transformation of the Body Explored

Posted on July 23, 2011

“…each mind/body/spirit complex shall and should and, indeed, must perceive each archetype, if you use this convenient term, in its own way. Therefore, you may see that precision is not the goal; rather the quality of general concept complex perception is the goal.”- Ra, Session 77

Sarcophagus or Judgement

Arcanum 20

Transformation: the act of changing in form or shape or appearance; a qualitative change

Body: The physical structure of a person or an animal, including the bones, flesh, and organs.

Judgment: the considered evaluation of evidence in the formation of making a decision. The cognitive process of reaching a decision or drawing conclusions

Resurrection: a revival from inactivity, in a biblical sense the resuming of life after death

Mummy: a body embalmed and dried and wrapped for burial

Sarcophagus: a stone coffin commonly used in ancient Egypt

What is the transformation of the spirit?

“That which you call the Sarcophagus in your system may be seen to be the material world, if you will. This material world is transformed by the spirit into that which is infinite and eternal. The infinity of the spirit is an even greater realization than the infinity of consciousness, for consciousness which has been disciplined by will and faith is that consciousness which may contact intelligent infinity directly. There are many things which fall away in the many, many steps of adepthood. We, of Ra, still walk these steps and praise the One Infinite Creator at each transformation.”      -Ra, Session 80.20 The Law of One

When we judge something, we have in a sense collapsed all the possibilities into one. In the court of law, in order to make a sound judgement all sides of the case argued, weighed and measured, all evidence accounted for and all information must be considered before final judgement can occur. At least that’s how it’s supposed to work. Only sometimes, we may wield the power of judgement more often that we should. How easy it is to inflict our judgement of things on others. And how easily we decide or make judgement of our self that may be limiting our potential or the potential of others. What a mighty power each of us has, one we speak with our eyes and heart more often than with our mouths. Perhaps things are born out of these ideas, these judgement that are bound by the very words or ideas that brought them to life. We are speaking about our life here.

The longer I live, the more I see the power in the act of judgment in the mind and how it affects my perspective of my everyday life. The more I am open to ideas, the more I am able to look at events and not judge them, the more I see I still need much more information before I can judge what is “right” or “true”. There are so many variables to consider even when thinking of trivial things like what a favorite color might be.  Then consider all things are created by you, for you, each thing a small part of all that is and has been observed by you in this lifetime…how could we possibly judge one thing more worthy of existence over another.

Nevertheless, we do make judgement calls and we do decide things for ourselves. Like what we are willing to accept or settle for in life or the sort of behaviors that we choose to express.

I want to talk about one more aspect of judgment and that is perceiving it in others. Remember that everyone you see is also Creator, remember especially when you see them wield their power of judgment. At that moment remember that you have only just seen a glimmer of one of the faces of the Creator. One small face or aspect, or reflection of yourself. Be assured that it is all real. It is all true and it is all good.

Judgment: Basic Tarot Story

As the Fool leaves the garden of the Sun, he feels that he is near the end of his journey, ready to take a final step. But something is keeping him from doing this, holding him back. He gazes up, hoping to find guidance from the Sun; instead he sees above him a fiery angel, beautiful and terrible.

“You are right,” the Angelic figure confirms, “you have only one last step on your journey, one final step to completion. But you cannot take that step until you lay your past to rest.” The Fool is perturbed. “Lay it to rest? I thought I’d left it behind, all of it,” he says. “There is no way to do that,” The Angel observes. “Each step wears down the shoe just a bit, and so shapes the next step you take, and the next and the next. Your past is always under your feet. You cannot hide from it, run from it, or rid yourself of it. But you can call it up, and come to terms with it. Are you willing to do that?”

The Angel hands the Fool a small trumpet. The Fool is hesitant, but he knows that this is a final decision. Either to go forward, or stay where he is. He blows, and the trumpet’s song echoes across the sky, its vibrations seeming to crack open the Earth. From under the Fool’s feet, memories rise. Images of his innocent youth, challenges, loves, failures, losses, success, disillusionment and wisdom.

For the first time, he does not try to leave them, ignore or forget them, but accepts them. They are, he sees, nothing to fear. They happened, but they are gone now. He, alone, carries them into the present. With that understanding, the memories vanish. Though they remain in his mind, they no longer have any power over him. He is free of them, reborn, and wholly in the present.”                                                                                                             –

“When the positive adept touches intelligent infinity from within, this is the most powerful of connections for it is the connection of the whole mind/body/spirit complex microcosm with the macrocosm. This connection enables the, shall we say, green-ray true color in time/space to manifest in your space/time. In green ray thoughts are beings. In your illusion this is normally not so.

The adepts then become living channels for love and light and are able to channel this radiance directly into the planetary web of energy nexi. The ritual will always end by the grounding of this energy in praise and thanksgiving and the release of this energy into the planetary whol.e” – Ra, session 50
